At one point it started feeling like the devs took whatever enemy types they had and just mix and matching them with all of the environmental damage the game has, was a good way to combat reusing the same 8 different enemy types, just becomes a slight slog to recall what enemy is immune to what damage types and what damage types actually hurt what enemy without looking at the Zompedia.įinal boss definitely left room for improvement considering it is just a reskin of another boss you find late into the game, which then immediately becomes a regular enemy you can fight out on the streets of Hell-A, just the bosses are beefed up with more health and toughness. Would suggest a Loadout system/sorter for easily matching all of the same card effect types that stack as opposed to switching them manually mid combat, but it worked well for what was offered. I enjoyed the game and its gore system was phenomenal! Main story was enjoyable but mediocre and the sidequests were also enjoyable! The level up skill card system while certainly different and looks complex is fairly simple once you start using it. A little over 9 years have gone by since this game announced its trailer and now in 2023 we actually get the game itself.
